    Our Story

    Our roots go deep. Mack's Apples is a National Bicentennial Farm that dates back to 1732 when John Mack came to Londonderry, New Hampshire from Ireland. Today Mack's Apples is one of the largest and historic orchards in New England.

WITH FLAVORS LIKE DEATH BY CHOCOLATE, CRUNCH-A-SAURUS, PEPPERMINT STICK, AND BLUEBERRY PIE, AS WELL AS SORBET AND FROZEN YOGURT OPTIONS, AND A BIG VARIETY OF TOPPINGS, MACK’S HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Is Parking Free?
    • Yes, parking is free on our farm.
    What type of payments do you accept?
    • We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, as well as cash and in-state checks.
    Are photo shoots allowed?
    Are pets allowed on the farm?
    • We love animals! However, due to the FDA Food Safety regulations, we cannot allow our 4-legged friends into the Farm Market, our orchards and fields, except for service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability. As a business, we must adhere to the rules and regulations; and as a public place, we have to consider and respect every customer. Thanks for your understanding!
    May I host an event on your farm?
    • We are receiving a high number of requests to use our farm for birthday celebrations, bridal or baby showers, church groups, team parties, family events and more. If you are interested, please, email us. However, we cannot guarantee the approval, since we are a working farm and the health of our trees is our number one priority.

  • Visitor Guidelines

    Welcome! To make your visit safe and enjoyable, please review our helpful guidelines before visiting the farm this season.

    • Please stay home if you are not feeling well, have a fever, a sore throat, cough, or other symptoms.
    • Are you curious about what is in season? Check our website or call us ahead for the latest ripening schedule, U-Pick availability and hours of operation.
    • We recommend wearing long pants, sturdy shoes and a hat. And don’t forget your sunscreen!
    • We do not allow pets on the farm, except service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability.
    • Please, park in designated areas only.
    • Follow all instructions on our signage and from our staff members.
    • Check in prior to entering the orchards and fields.
    • Do not take personal bags or containers into the orchards or fields for picking. U-Pick bags will be provided when you check in.
    • We provide wagons for hauling fruit when available. Please do not ride in wagons and return them back.
    • Please respect our private property, and only pick in areas that are open. Not all fruit ripens at the same time!
    • Help us keep our orchards clean and safe. Please put litter in its proper place.
    • Do not act in an unsafe manner; do not climb tractors, farm equipment, bins, crates, fences, etc.
    • Do not move crates, bins, pumpkins, equipment, and other farm stuff around to stage a photo.
    • Be kind to our trees and plants; do not climb or shake the trees, break branches, or throw fruit/vegetables. Thank you for being respectful of our hard work!
    • You are responsible for paying for everything you and your family pick. If you pick it, it must go in your bag, and you must pay for it. Please help us prevent waste.
    • Parents, please, watch your children. You are responsible for their actions at all times.
    • No alcoholic beverages or drugs are permitted.
    • No smoking or vaping, no chewing tobacco, please.
    • No grilling, fires, incense, fireworks or open flames allowed.
    • No drones allowed.
    • No stealing; we will prosecute any and all thefts.

    Mack’s Apples Photography Policy
    Thank you for your interest in Mack’s Apples! Our farm is a beautiful place often used for photography sessions. We want to make sure that the experience of all customers, guests and those who work here is a positive one. If you would like to use our farm for photography purposes, please read our Policy Rules. We want to be fair to everyone and especially to those who ask for permission first and follow our guidelines.
    Please read, fill out and sign the Photography Application below. You can then submit it to us via email for our review. In case of approval, please print your Application together with our approval email and have it with you on a scheduled day, that will be your Photography Permit. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! Have fun!
