“There no place, quite like this place, anywhere near this place.”
Mack’s Apples Farm Market is dedicated to supplying fresh from the farm fruits, vegetables, and a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. You’ll also find locally produced goodies like milk, eggs, cheese, maple syrup, honey, pies, cider, cider doughnuts, breads, jams, jellies… it’s Locavore heaven!
Beginning in mid-August, visitors will find tree ripened peaches, pears, cucumbers, tomatoes, corn, apples, squash pumpkins and more. Often, apples, pears, peaches and many varieties of squash are available long after the trees are picked, through the winter and into the early spring months.
Throughout the year, on many weekends, you’ll find local groups running bake sales and fundraisers – and there’s almost always some sort of event going on.
While you shop, be sure to take in the atmosphere! Take a look at the old photos in “Mack’s Attic” and peek through some of the artifacts. For fun, keep your eyes out for the copy of one of the old deeds to the farm – signed by Matthew Thornton, who signed the Declaration of Independence!
